You find yourself in a nondescript room. There is a table in front of you, upon which lay a resume and a portfolio folder. A large portrait hangs on the wall over the table. To your right is an open doorway leading to a dimly-lit room full of shelves.

You enter the room and give your eyes a few moments to adjust to the pleasantly dim ambience. Once they have, an involuntary gasp escapes your lungs as you behold the full magnificence of your surroundings.
Against the wall to your right you see an enormous shelf full of scores, no, //hundreds// of CDs. The sheer size of the collection is almost too much to bear, but at the same time it almost pains you to turn your gaze away. There are a few shelves with cassette tapes and vinyl records as well, but, while quite impressive in their own right, their number pales in comparison to what is clearly to focus of the collection: the CDs.
On the wall to your left is a slightly less enormous shelf packed with a few dozen boxed PC games. You recognize a few of the title, and their quality instills within you a sense of trust, a certainty that the rest are of a similarly impeccable caliber.
Covering the wall directly in front of you are two more large shelves. One of them is positively brimming with movies; the colorful spines of the multitude of Blu-rays, DVDs and even VHS tapes before you is rather pleasing, and fills you with a sense of comfort and quiet satisfaction. The other shelf is similarly stocked with console video games, ranging widely in age and form factor. Your eyes skim over the titles, many of which you recognize as true classics and some that, while intriguing, are unknown to you (I assume. I mean, I don't know the depth of your video game history knowledge, dear reader).

You wander over to the shelf of PC games. There are a few dozen here, varying widely in age and packaging style. You recognize a few of the titles, or are at least familiar with most of the words in said titles. Despite a few of the boxes looking a little worse for wear it is immediately apparent that they have been well taken care of by the curator of the collection.
You take a moment to mull over getting a closer look.
Or maybe you don't. Let's just say you're suitably impressed either way.

You scan over the resume, noting for later the myriad of reasons that this Keith person is so cool and hirable. Reaching the end, you think to yourself how much you would like to work with such a unique and talented person.
Or maybe you don't, that's alright too.
Either way, you tenderly place the resume back on the table and go back to looking around [[the nondescript room]].(set: $history to (history:))

You pick up the portfolio and begin to leaf through it. The projects inside strike you as being creative, unique, and well-written.
Your curiosity sated, you close the portfolio, tap its side on the table a few times to straighten the pages neatly, then gently replace it on the table. You then return to looking around in [[the nondescript room]].(set: $history to (history:))

You step forward to get a better look at the portrait. The fellow in the portrait has a look to him that suggests to you the word "talented." You get the impression that this is a hard-working and intelligent individual, who, while serious about the quality of his work, is good-humored and approachable, and always willing to help in any way he can.
A small plaque at the bottom of the portrait reads:
"Better put some ointment on that or it'll scar." -Keith Cook

You step a little closer to the shelf of movies. There must be hundreds here, and not a bad one in the bunch! Or, at the very least, nary a one that isn't at least //entertainingly// bad.
You take another step forward, leaning in close to really appreciate the movie collection.
...unless you didn't, which is also well within your rights to do. I'm not the boss of you, but hey, you're missing out if you didn't. Just sayin'.

You sidle over to the shelf of video games. Your eyes dart from shelf to shelf in rapt wonder, noting that the age of consoles represented by the titles here range from the modern day all the way back to the 1970's. The games aren't all in perfect condition, and many of the older ones in particular are missing boxes or manuals, but you get the impression nonetheless that each and every one is appreciated and well taken care of.
Wiping an appreciative tear from each eye, you resolve to look at the shelves even more closely.
Or maybe you don't. You do you.

You approach the shelf of CDs (and other album formats, but //mostly// CDs). There are easily more than 1500 discs here, all in remarkably good condition and above reproach in terms of quality; while not all of the albums appear to be up your particular alley, the care put into the curation of the collection is clear to see.
In perusing the collection, you take note also of the smaller shelves of cassette tapes and vinyl records. There aren't nearly as many as there are CDs (how could there be?), but the collections make up for their lack of quantity with an abundance of eclecticism and tastefulness.
You deliberate for moment on whether you'd like to take a closer look.
